What is the DayRoll Q5 DigiCam?

The DayRoll Q5 DigiCam is a pocket sized retro digital camera, the kind people call a digicam or a point and shoot. It captures warm, grainy, nostalgic photos straight out of the camera, with 4K photo and video, 16x digital zoom, a flip screen, 15 built in filters and an adjustable LED fill light on the lens. It is built for travel, parties, beach days and everyday moments, not for professional work.

Do the photos really look retro without any editing?

Yes. The warm, grainy digicam look is produced in camera, using the same CCD style approach that gave 2000s point and shoot cameras their character. There is no app, no filter step and no editing: what you see is what the camera writes to the card.

Does the DayRoll Q5 have a flash?

The Q5 has an adjustable LED fill light around the lens rather than a xenon flash. It is continuous light you can turn up or down, which is what gives close up indoor and night shots that direct, hard lit 2000s look. If you want a true built in flash, choose the Q6 Max.

What is included in the box with the DayRoll Q5?

The DayRoll Q5 DigiCam, a 32GB SD card pre loaded and ready to shoot, a USB card reader and mobile adapter, a carrying pouch, a wrist strap, a rechargeable battery and a USB charging cable.

Do I need film, an app or a phone to use a DayRoll camera?

No. DayRoll cameras are fully reusable digital cameras. There is no film to buy and no developing cost, and no app or phone is needed to shoot. Photos are written to the included SD card and transferred with the supplied USB card reader and mobile adapter.

Does the DayRoll Q5 shoot video?

Yes. The Q5 DigiCam records 4K video as well as 4K stills, to the same SD card.

What colours does the DayRoll Q5 come in?

Should I buy the DayRoll Q5 or the Q6 Max?

Choose the Q5 DigiCam for the classic digicam look in the smallest and simplest package: 4K, 16x zoom, flip screen, 15 filters, an adjustable LED fill light and a 32GB card. Choose the Q6 Max if you want 64MP photos, 18x zoom, a real built in flash, two batteries and 64GB of storage for longer trips.

How long does DayRoll shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Standard shipping is free: Australia 8 to 10 business days, New Zealand 6 to 10, United States 6 to 10, Canada 6 to 11. Paid priority options are available. A tracking link is emailed once the order ships.

Can I return a DayRoll camera if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 60 days from the day your order arrives. Email support@dayroll.co with your order number and we send you the return address. The camera needs to come back unused and in its original packaging. Once it reaches us we refund you to your original payment method within 10 business days. There is no restocking fee and nothing else is deducted. Return postage on a change of mind return is at your own cost. Full conditions are in the refund policy.

What happens if my camera arrives faulty or is not as described?

That is a different path and the change of mind conditions do not apply to it. Email support@dayroll.co with your order number and a photo: we cover the return postage and make it right. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies, sit on top of our voluntary policy, are never reduced by it, and are not limited to the 60 day window.
