DayRoll started with one belief: the best photos are not the perfect ones, they are the real ones.

Who we are

DayRoll is an Australian owned camera brand. We design and sell pocket sized retro digital cameras, the kind people call digicams, and we sell them direct to customers in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada. Our cameras are manufactured overseas and shipped internationally, so we are not an Australian manufacturer and we do not hold local stock. We are based in Victoria, Australia, and our support team answers at support@dayroll.co.

The story

The big names charge a fortune for that warm, grainy, early 2000s camera look, and then sell you the film on top. We thought that was a bit much. So we built DayRoll: pocket sized digital cameras that give you the nostalgic, film style look straight out of the camera. No app, no editing, no film to buy. Just point, shoot, and walk away with photos that actually feel like a memory.

Nights out, beach days, road trips, festivals, and the everyday moments worth keeping. Point, shoot, and stay in it. No phone, no overthinking. Just the warm, imperfect, real look that feels like summer, every time.

The lineup

The DayRoll Q5 DigiCam is where it started: 4K photo and video, 16x digital zoom, a flip screen, 15 built in filters and a 32GB card included. The DayRoll Q6 Max steps it up with 64MP, a real built in flash and 18x zoom. The Q6 Max Pro is the fuller kit of the same Q6: dual battery and 64GB of storage. We also make a pocket printer, photo paper, a tripod and a canvas camera bag.

What to expect from the photos

A DayRoll is built for character, not clinical sharpness. The grain, the warmth and the hard flash are the point, and they are produced in the camera rather than added afterwards. If you are looking for a professional camera, this is not one, and we would rather say so up front.

Shipping

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Standard shipping is free: Australia 8 to 10 business days, New Zealand 6 to 10, United States 6 to 10, Canada 6 to 11. Paid priority options are available at checkout, and a tracking link is emailed once your order ships.

Our promise

Eligible unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Prior approval and return conditions apply, and return postage is paid by the customer. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies, sit on top of that and are never reduced by it. The full terms are in our refund policy.
